2 layers, 1 filling = 1 tier

Every cake tier comes standard five inches high and has two layers of cake with a filling in between. The tier is coated with a base buttercream frosting and may then be covered in fondant, or buttercream decor.

For an additional $1 per serving, each layer can be torted, giving an additional layer of filling for each layer within the tier. See images below for visual explanation.
